001/365 – Intro

001/365 – Saturday, January 1, 2011

What’s a good opening line?

I wanted to start this blogging endeavor with a powerful phrase, one that will help me to introduce you to the concept, to set your expectations, to entice you into throwing yourself wholeheartedly and letting yourself go, immersing yourself in the experience… but after all the soul-searching and analysis I have decided to stick with a classic:

“Hi, I’m Fernando”.

Here’s what you should know about me to get you started: Originally from Venezuela, now living in Louisiana, USA. Husband, Dad (3 year-old daughter and a baby boy who will be here around Easter), Tech Geek, Musician, Disney Fan (Ex-Castmember), Apple Enthusiast, Florida Gator.

So, I’ve decided that I want to blog more and rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now. I will be posting on this blog at least once a day for all of 2011.

I know it won’t be easy, but it will definitely be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.

All I can say is that I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

Happy New Year to you all and I hope that 2011 is a great one!
